Its hard to believe a city only a bit over a hundred years old has 35 desinated historic districts, yet Phoenix does. It began in 1985 when the city of Phoenix established an historic preservation office. The result has been nothing but fabulous as home owners have flocked to the neighborhoods spending dollars and time to bring these unique and important properties back to their former glory.
